February 2009 - Wow - I have been remiss in updating the website - last update was April 2008! I've created a page to house the old index pages - just in case you are really bored.
Cliff and I are still working (thank goodness), he is still at Cisco and I'm still consulting through my corporation. My mom and dad have decided to come out of retirement and do some consulting of their own. They are working for my corporation now - who would've figured that my parents would work for me (hee hee)!
Cliff and I hit a lot of festivals this year: Live 105 BFD, Vans Warped Tour, Outlands Festival, Slow Food Rocks and Treasure Island Music Festival. I think that my favorite feature was the huge wine tasting tent at the Outlands festival - every show should have them :-) We also saw the Fratellis and Killers live again at the Fillmore and Warefield - they put on a great show!
There were some advantages to the economic downturn - both of the companies that we work for essentially shut down for Christmas in order to save money. We were very lucky to be able to spend the week of Thanksgiving and the last two weeks of December in the desert! I always feel like the only time that we get to spend down there is to clean and fix things between rentals! The weather was gorgeous and my parents and niece and nephew were with us for part of the trip.
I hope everyone weathers the economic downturn well! It's like Obama says, if we all work together we can get it done!

PS - Sorry about the quick and dirty on the Christmas Photos - I just upgraded to the Adobe CS4 Suite and they changed the Web Gallery (so that it SUCKS now)!
